The fit was great. Part seems much more durable than the OEM plastic one. Shipping was a little slow but for the price and quality I’m not mad one bit.
I knew I’d need to replace the plastic housing eventually. This aluminum one came recommended and is much cheaper than Dorman. It doesn’t come with torque specs or separated parts for inspection, but it feels solid and works just as well. I swapped the oil pressure sensor from my OEM housing—quick and easy. A week in, no leaks, and oil pressure is steady. While you're in there, it's a good time to change your spark plugs and coils too.
The packaging the oil cooler came in was first-class. So far there have been no leaks. The oil cooler took my son and me 6 hours to remove and install the new one. There was a lot more to it than we thought. Hopefully, this oil cooler will last more than 6 years.
OEM and other wanted $360-$430 to replace this part glad I went this way instead. My mechanic confirmed it was a perfect fit, and so far, everything is working great. I’ve driven it around, and there are no issues—no more coolant leaks.
I've worked with countless 3.6 oil filter housings (a common issue on the 3.6) and always use these. I've never had one come back. The fit, quality, and finish are so good, but at a fraction of the cost. These come fully equipped with everything you need, including O-rings for the cooler and upper and lower intake gaskets.
Send the correct part. Your search and part matching needs improvement. Your customer service is lacking in quality and speed. Took forever to resolve my issue. Nearly 10 emails, several pictures multiple times. Asked for my VIN twice before deciding it was the wrong part and then claimed it was my fault for ordering the wrong part. Bad experience
I had to file one front edge just a little bit to slide the part in properly. Everything went smoothly after that. It is one of several upgrades that I am currently adding to my jeep.
